*FIAN INAUGURATE ELECTORAL COMMITTEE AHEAD OF 2019 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING*

As Football Intermediaries Association Of Nigeria FIAN get set to elect officers into various elective positions, the body has inaugurated an electoral committee to oversee all election related activities at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

The committee which was inaugurated on December 10, 2018 has Mr. chuks Ojioma as chairman, Nansik Joel as Vice chairman and Mr Jidiofor Obidike as its secretary.

The FIAN electoral committee also has Mr. Gbenga Oluwanifise, Mr. Philip Amulum, Dr. Niyi Ogunsanya and Mr. Osasere Malachi as members.

They will be saddled with the electoral responsibility when FIAN holds its AGM in 2019.

STAKEHOLDERS MOUNT PRESSURE ON FERDINAND OJI TO CONTEST FIAN PRESIDENCY

Ahead of the 2019 Annual General Meeting of Football Intermediary Association Of Nigeria FIAN, well meaning individuals have called on a FIAN member of great repute, Mr Ferdinand Oji to contest for the top position of the body.

Those putting pressure on Ferdinand Oji to contest believes he is vastly experienced and has what it takes to mount FIAN’s temple of leadership.

Ferdinand Oji, who is the Chief executive officer of Chinice Sports Investment Limited has a working relationship with Football stakeholders across the world, particularly in Italy.

He has worked and he still works with Super Italian agent Eugenio Ascari, former AC Milan scout Pagni Danilo, Torino duo Lavezzi Rino and Panucci Patric, Riccardo Guffanti of Cagliari and Pellinacci Pierpaolo of Italian outfit A.S Roma.

One of those who tipped Ferdinand Oji to become FIAN president who spoke in anonymity said “His CV is rich, he has the qualities to lead FIAN , I will try and convince him to contest.

Another Stakeholder Said “I’m surprised Ferdinand is not talking about becoming FIAN president, he is qualified, he has the connection and for obvious reasons deserves the top honour.

He said “I have received calls from well meaning individuals, majority want me to file my candidacy and honestly, the pressure is way too much, at this point, I prefer to roll silent as I have not come out to declare any intention.

ACCOLADES, ENCOMIUMS FALLS ON FALCONS, PINNICK AS INTERMEDIARIES SING THEIR PRAISES

Licensed and registered intermediaries with the Nigeria Football Federation Messers Ferdinand Oji and Steve Okwechime have congratulated African women champions, the super Falcons of Nigeria for winning a record 9th continental title at the expense of South Africa’s Bayana Bayana.

The intermediaries in a joint congratulatory message also felicitated with the president of the Nigeria Football Federation Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick who celebrated his birthday same day the Falcons clinched the record title.

Ferdinand Oji, who is the Chief executive officer of Chinice Sports Investment Limited described Falcons’ triumph as a perfect birthday gift for Pinnick, he also stressed the need for soccer loving Nigerians to throw their weight behind the God sent administrator.

He said ” Congratulations to the Falcons, they are worthy Ambassadors, they have shown over the years that they are worth every million spent on them”

While extending congratulatory messages to the NFF president, the Chinice Sports Investment Limited boss said “Happy birthday to a Godsent administrator, he is a man of honour and good luck, I’m not surprised the Falcons won a record 9th title on his birthday, I hope those in doubt will at this point be convinced that he is the right man to lead the Nigerian Football governing body”

On his path, Mr Steve Okwechime showered encomiums on the Thomas Dennerby tutored Falcons and also appreciated Amaju Pinnick for motivating the girls when it matters most .

He opined that “The most important thing in a tournament of this magnitude is to conquer, the Falcons did it in styles, apart from the title, they also qualified for the world cup”

Mr Okwechime also extended regards to the NFF president whom he described as a man of the people.

“Let me also congratulate Amaju Melvin Pinnick on his birthday, he got a perfect gift from the triumphant Falcons, double celebration it is Obviously, I’m optimistic the super Eagles’ will also soar come 2019 Africa cup of nations, they will definitely want to win for Pinnick and Nigeria as a whole”.

Steve Okwechime however urged those who intend to sabotage the effort of Pinnick not to execute their plans but should instead join the moving train in order to take Nigerian Football to an enviable height.

He described Pinnick as a man who has the support of God and majority, and one who is difficult to thwart.
